Our Work

Angkor Association for the Disabled
Angkor Association for the Disabled

AAD's mission is to end the cycle of poverty and discrimination facing people with disabilities; to help them build a sustainable future through self-sufficiency.

We do this through timely intervention, unflagging support, and limitless encouragement. We provide a secure home, education, resources, and a community where our people can open up a lifetime of possibilities.

Our staff structure is simple; a director, an administrative assistant, and an accountant, and three instructors in woodwork, sewing, and music. Essential specialist capacities, such as English language teaching and consultancy, are provided by volunteer workers.

Our work is based in actions , not words. These actions involve our people at every level - they more than participate - they are the essence and meaning of AAD.

Get to know a little more about these actions by taking a couple of minutes to enjoy the website! Check out our Action list on the right for up to date information about what we are doing.

We're proud of our achievements, but our work has only just begun.
